FAQ

Clear answers before the design review.

These answers reflect the approved JhéneAlorá custom design policies. Final contract language remains subject to legal review.

How early should I inquire?

Clients should inquire at least 8 weeks before their event. Bridal garments, heavily embellished gowns, highly structured pieces, and more complex designs should be requested 12-16 weeks in advance when possible. Every project remains subject to availability.

What qualifies as a rush order?

A project is considered a rush when the event is 30 calendar days or less from the date the project becomes officially booked. Rush projects are accepted only when Jarrah's schedule, materials, design complexity, and fitting availability allow.

Is there a rush fee?

Rush fees are calculated individually based on the design, timeline, labor, material sourcing, expedited delivery needs, and the impact on the current production schedule.

How long is my quote valid?

Your custom-design quote is valid for 7 calendar days. After that period, availability and material pricing may change, and a revised quote may be required.

How many times can I reschedule my consultation?

A consultation may be rescheduled up to two times, based on Jarrah's availability.

What happens if I miss my consultation?

The first missed consultation may be rescheduled without a late fee. If the second scheduled consultation is also missed or cancelled, the original consultation fee is forfeited and a new fee is required to book again.

What happens if I miss a fitting?

Your fitting may be rescheduled based on availability. Fittings are important to achieving the intended fit, and delays may affect alteration time, completion, or the original delivery timeline.

Is there a late-arrival policy?

A 15-minute grace period is provided. Additional flexibility may be possible with advance notice. If another fitting is scheduled immediately afterward and there is not enough time to complete your fitting properly, the appointment must be rescheduled.

Are additional fittings charged?

No. Additional fittings are not automatically charged and may be scheduled when reasonably necessary to complete the approved garment.

Can I change my design after materials are purchased?

No. Once materials have been purchased, the approved design direction cannot be changed. Changes requested before materials are purchased may require revised pricing and an updated timeline.

What if my measurements change?

Notify JhéneAlorá as early as possible. Significant measurement changes after production begins may require additional work, materials, revised pricing, or a changed timeline. Pregnancy or maternity needs must be disclosed before the design is approved.

Are alterations included?

Standard alterations required to complete the approved custom fit are included in the project price.

What may cost extra?

Optional body-shaping enhancements, including hip enhancement, bust enhancement, added padding, or structural shaping beyond the approved design, are priced separately.

How will I receive my garment?

Local pickup is the standard delivery method. Shipping may be approved for select projects when exact measurements are provided.

Who pays for shipping?

The client is responsible for shipping, packaging where applicable, and delivery insurance.

When is my final payment due?

The final balance is due at pickup. The garment will not be released until payment is confirmed. Shipped projects must be paid in full, including shipping and insurance, before shipment.

How long will you hold a completed garment?

A completed garment will be held for 14 calendar days after the pickup-ready notice. A $25 weekly storage fee may apply afterward. A garment that remains unclaimed for 60 days may be classified as abandoned under the signed agreement.

What happens if a project is abandoned?

Abandoned projects are non-refundable. Production may stop, the timeline is no longer guaranteed, and JhéneAlorá is not required to store unfinished or completed garments indefinitely.

Will my photos be used?

The standard agreement includes permission for JhéneAlorá to use approved project photographs for its portfolio, website, social media, and promotional content unless the client opts out in writing before final delivery. A parent or guardian must authorize use for clients under 18.
