Service policy summary.

This page summarizes approved business policy direction for public website clarity. It is not a replacement for the final service agreement.

REPLACE BEFORE LAUNCH

Final agreement language requires legal review before public launch and before enforcement of contract-dependent terms.

Lead time

Clients should submit a custom-design inquiry at least 8 weeks before the event date.

For bridal garments, highly structured gowns, heavily embellished designs, or complex projects, 12-16 weeks is strongly recommended.

Submitting within the recommended timeframe does not guarantee acceptance.

  • design complexity
  • fitting requirements
  • client responsiveness
  • event location

Rush projects

A project is considered a rush project when the event date is 30 calendar days or less from the date the project becomes officially booked.

A project becomes officially booked only after the quote is accepted, the agreement is signed, and the required booking payment is confirmed.

Rush projects are accepted only at Jarrah's discretion.

  • Rush fees are calculated by project, not fixed.
  • The fee may reflect shortened production time, design complexity, material sourcing, expedited shipping, additional labor, fitting availability, or changes required to the normal production schedule.

Consultation

A $50 consultation fee is required to reserve a Custom Design Consultation.

If the client moves forward with the approved custom project, the $50 is credited toward the project total.

Consultations are scheduled for one hour.

  • A client may reschedule a consultation up to two times, based on Jarrah's availability.
  • The first missed consultation or cancellation may be rescheduled without a late fee, subject to Jarrah's availability.
  • If the client cancels, misses, or fails to attend the rescheduled consultation a second time, the original consultation fee is forfeited and a new consultation fee is required to book again.

Quote validity

A custom-design quote is valid for 7 calendar days from the date it is sent.

After 7 days, availability is no longer guaranteed, materials may need to be repriced, the production schedule may have changed, and a revised quote may be required.

A sent quote cannot be silently edited. Material pricing, design scope, or requested changes must be reflected in a new quote version.

Design changes

Design changes requested before materials are purchased may be considered.

Design changes are not permitted after materials have been purchased.

Once materials are secured, the client is committed to the approved design direction, silhouette, color, structure, fabric/material selection, and major embellishment plan.

  • Approved changes may require revised pricing.
  • Approved changes may require a new quote version.
  • Approved changes may require timeline changes or updated material sourcing.
  • Minor fit adjustments are not considered design changes.

Measurements and fit

Clients are responsible for providing accurate measurements and disclosing any known circumstances that may affect fit.

Clients must notify Jarrah as early as possible if they experience or expect a meaningful measurement change.

For maternity designs, pregnancy and the expected stage of pregnancy on the event date must be disclosed before the design is approved.

  • Pregnancy or maternity needs
  • Significant weight change
  • Medical or physical changes affecting fit
  • Changes in undergarments or shaping garments
  • Body-enhancement accessories requested for the garment

Alterations and enhancements

Standard alterations required to complete the approved custom fit are included in the project price.

Optional body-shaping enhancements are charged separately and must be approved and priced before implementation.

  • Included alterations may include length adjustments, seam adjustments, waist or bodice refinement, fit corrections identified during scheduled fittings, and finishing required for the approved design.
  • Separate enhancements may include hip enhancement, bust enhancement, additional structural padding, or removable or built-in shaping features not included in the approved design.

Pickup, shipping, and final payment

Local pickup is the standard delivery method.

The final balance is due at pickup.

The garment will not be released until the final payment has been received and confirmed.

For shipped garments, the final balance, shipping cost, and insurance cost must be paid before shipment.

  • Shipping may be offered for approved projects.
  • Clients requesting shipping must provide exact and current measurements.
  • The client is responsible for shipping, packaging when applicable, delivery insurance, expedited shipping if requested, and return shipping if a return shipment is approved.
  • JhéneAlorá is not responsible for carrier delays or loss beyond the protection available through the purchased shipping/insurance service, subject to the final contract terms.

Completed garment hold

A completed garment will be held for 14 calendar days after the client receives the official pickup-ready notice.

After 14 days, a storage fee of $25 per week may be charged.

After 60 calendar days without pickup, completed payment, or meaningful communication, the project may be classified as abandoned.

  • During the first 14 days, no storage fee is charged and the client should arrange pickup promptly.
  • Pickup remains subject to Jarrah's availability.
  • The garment will not be released until the final balance and any storage charges are paid.
  • This policy should appear in the final service agreement before enforcement.

Photo and marketing release

JhéneAlorá's standard agreement should include permission to photograph and use the completed garment and project imagery for website, portfolio, social media, advertising, editorial content, promotional materials, and behind-the-scenes content.

This permission is included by default unless the client opts out in writing before final delivery.

No private measurements, contact information, payment information, or sensitive personal information may be published.

For any client under 18, parent or legal guardian authorization is required.
